Maintaining your account

You can manage your account from the "My Account" page. Updating your profile information, changing your username, changing your password and changing the site settings can be done from here.

Updating your profile information allows us to serve you by automating tasks that would otherwise be tedious for you.

When you post an ad you are required to select your borough, town and enter your address. This is mainly useful if you have a physical storefront.

We understand the need for safety. From the site settings you may decide if you want your email address, phone number, borough, town or your home address displayed in your ads.

If none of your contact information is displayed in your ad, other members may only contact you using Hermitt's mailbox system.
